Dual-Mode Lighting Design This searchlight features a dual-beam configuration designed to adapt to various navigation scenarios. The high beam offers a focused, long-range spotlight ideal for distant target detection, while the low beam provides a wide-angle floodlight suitable for close-range visibility. The light will operate normally within 10–30V DC. If the voltage drops below ~10V, the driver can no longer maintain constant current and the light will dim or shut off. If the voltage rises above ~30V, the over-voltage protection will be triggered and the light will shut off to prevent damage.20-30V DC
The light will operate normally within 20–30V DC. If the voltage drops below ~20V, the light will gradually dim or shut off. If the voltage rises above ~30V, the driver’s over-voltage protection will also shut the light off.Operating Temperature -22°F to +113°F (-30°C to +45°C) Thermal Management Built-in smart fan with temperature control protection (reduces power or shuts off during overheating). When internal temperature reaches 212°F or 100°C, the power automatically reduces to 40%; if the temperature rises to 230°F or 110°C, the temperature control system disables the power to prevent overheating, ensuring long-term stable performance. Normal Strobe & SOS Strobe Switching The STROBE flash function combines high-frequency light pulses with directed intense light, playing a critical role in maritime safety, emergency response, and tactical operations. The standard SOS function, activated via a dedicated physical button (STROBE button), allows mode switching with single-handed operation, enabling quick activation in emergencies such as distress, collisions, or mechanical failures, avoiding delays in rescue operations. Emergency Functions STROBE / SOS Sweep Mode 90° & 360° Switching The innovative auto-sweep function allows the light to continuously scan in an approximately 90° arc (45° left and right) or a 360° panoramic scan. By dynamically probing narrow waterways or complex sea areas for potential collision risks, it establishes a multidimensional dynamic monitoring system while freeing hands for vessel operation. Allows focus on other critical tasks like navigation, communication, or piloting, improves operational efficiency and reduces human error. Uniform scanning at the default speed (12°/sec) reduces mechanical stress. Compared to frequent manual rapid rotations, the searchlight’s transmission system experiences 60% less wear. Auto-Positioning When Powering ON/OFF To enhance operational convenience, structural durability, navigation safety, and intuitive orientation the searchlight is equipped with an intelligent auto-homing function. When powered on, it automatically aligns to the forward position (facing straight ahead); when powered off, it adjusts to face rearward (away from the wind, toward the back stern or wind-sheltered side). This protects the lens from coating by salt water, rain and debris, and the motor mechanism, and rotation shaft from unnecessary wind stress and impact on the lamp body when not in use during daylight navigation or forward operation and lowers the wind resistance coefficient.
●On activation: Light automatically aligns to the forward-facing (bow) direction.
● On shutdown: Light auto-rotates to face rearward (stern) or away from prevailing wind and rain and
debris, plus minimizing wind load during forward operation.Multi-Station Control Easy to connect. Plug and Play. Additional system available including: Joysticks.
